Kathleen Truax’s painting style ranges from abstraction to realism, and her subject matter includes landscapes, portraits, figures, and still lifes. She is especially drawn to painting water. A recent professional highlight was having one of her works accepted into the de Young 2023 Open.

Lisa Scimen is a painter working primarily in acrylic, often incorporating mixed media into her pieces. She is known for artwork that carries “a little bit of whimsy,” along with expressive still lifes. Recently, she has been exploring a cubist style in her newer work.
