With gratitude for Marcie Waldron’s generous support of the Sonoma Valley Community, for her boundless energy, and unwavering devotion to helping those who needed help, Vintage House is proud to present:
In addition to all of Marcie’s philanthropic and volunteer activities, she loved to travel and she collected walking canes of various sizes, shapes, colors, and materials. Her family has donated the cane collection to Vintage House. The collection of about 60 includes ornate canes of hand-carved exotic wood, clear plexiglass, and other unusual materials. There are canes with fish, bird, duck, and other animal handles. Straight canes, twisted canes, and curved canes many of which are hand-painted with bright colors. There are of course several pink canes, a cane with a hidden flask, and 2 or 3 shillelaghs, also known as Irish fighting sticks.
Tuesday, October 13 – 4pm
