May - Ignite your spirit and creativity
Yoga Nidra is the science of relaxation. This guided, powerful practice of meditative self-inquiry goes beyond ordinary relaxation to a place of natural peace and quiet where physical and mental tensions are released, and the mind is silent but alert. Resting in awareness allows us to take a break from distractions, uncertainty, confusion, and stress to receive the gifts of rest, reconnection, discernment, and calm. It is accessible to all - nothing more is required than lying or sitting comfortably and listening. Over the long term, Yoga Nidra becomes a platform for transformational change, inviting us into the heart of what is, so that we may walk in this world, however it is, from a state of balance.
Bring to class – yoga mat and 1 or 2 blankets; one blanket under your head as a pillow if needed (a towel will also work) and another to pad your mat or cover up if cold.
Nice to have – eye pillow, bolster, small pillow for your head.
This class is taught virtually using the Zoom platform.
If you have any questions please call Vintage House (707) 996-0311.
