What You Need To Know About Strokes Is Topic Of Vintage House Panel Discussion

Strokes are the fifth leading cause of death and a leading cause of adult disability, according to the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association. Vintage House, in partnership with Sonoma Valley Hospital, will hold a panel discussion on to provide information on recognizing stroke symptoms and what to do in the event of a stroke. The panel will also address audience questions about emergency care.

Participating on the panel are Jasper Schmidt, MD, SVH Medical Director of Emergency Medicine; Danielle Jones, BSN, RN, HACP, SVH Director of Quality and Risk Management; and Maryanne Mahoney, RN, SVH Stroke Coordinator.
